LIC AAO Recruitment 2025: Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a basic pay of ₹88,635/- per month in the pay scale of ₹88,635–4,385(14)–1,50,025–4,750(4)–1,69,025.

At the minimum of the scale, the gross monthly salary including House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), and other admissible allowances in an ‘A’ class city will be around ₹1,26,000/- per month.

LIC AAO Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

The recruitment will happen in 3 stages followed by a medical test:

  1. Preliminary Exam (Phase I)

    • Online test with Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English.

    • Total 100 questions, 70 marks, 1-hour duration.

    • English is only qualifying (marks not counted).

    • No negative marking.

    • Candidates 20 times the vacancies will be shortlisted for Mains.

  2. Main Exam (Phase II)

    • Online test with 4 sections: Reasoning, GK/Current Affairs, Data Analysis, Insurance & Finance.

    • 120 questions for 300 marks (2 hours).

    • Plus an English descriptive test (essay/report/precis writing) of 25 marks, qualifying only.

    • Must pass each section separately.

    • No negative marking.

  3. Interview (Phase III)

    • Maximum marks: 60.

    • Qualifying: 30 (UR/EWS/OBC), 27 (SC/ST/PwBD).

    • Candidates 3 times the vacancies will be called.

    • Final merit = Mains + Interview marks.

  4. Medical Test

    • Candidates who clear interview will undergo a medical test.

    • Appointment only if found medically fit.
