The ISRO LPSC Recruitment 2025: Selection Process 

The selection process consists of a Written Test and a Skill Test for all posts except Post No. 794.

For Post No. 792, 793, 795, 796 & 797:

Written Test:

  • Duration: 90 minutes

  • Questions: 80 multiple-choice questions

  • Marks: 1 mark for each correct answer

  • Negative marking: 0.33 marks for each wrong answer

  • Syllabus: Curriculum-based to test both theoretical and practical knowledge.

Skill Test:

  • Candidates shortlisted from the written test in a 1:5 ratio (minimum 10 candidates).

  • Conducted on a go/no-go basis.

  • Marks in the skill test are not considered for final selection.

  • Final selection is based on written test scores. In case of a tie, academic scores of the notified qualification will be the tie-breaker.

  • Shortlisting for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) in 1:50 ratio based on PME and written test marks.

  • PET is conducted in two stages, purely on go/no-go basis.

  • Candidates participate at their own risk; no compensation for injury or disability.

  • Candidates qualifying Stage 1 & 2 PET will undergo Detailed Medical Examination (DME).

  • Final selection is based on written test scores among candidates who qualify DME.
