Trade Apprentice (Fitter) – Matric/10th pass with a full-time 2-year ITI in Fitter trade from NCVT/SCVT.

Trade Apprentice (Electrician) – Matric/10th pass with a full-time 2-year ITI in Electrician trade from NCVT/SCVT.

Trade Apprentice (Electronics Mechanic) – Matric/10th pass with a full-time 2-year ITI in Electronics Mechanic trade from NCVT/SCVT.

Trade Apprentice (Instrument Mechanic) – Matric/10th pass with a full-time 2-year ITI in Instrument Mechanic trade from NCVT/SCVT.

Trade Apprentice (Machinist) – Matric/10th pass with a full-time 2-year ITI in Machinist trade from NCVT/SCVT.

Technician Apprentice (Mechanical) – 3-year full-time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Technician Apprentice (Electrical) – 3-year full-time Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation) – 3-year full-time Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Technician Apprentice (Civil) – 3-year full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Technician Apprentice (Electrical & Electronics) – 3-year full-time Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Technician Apprentice (Electronics) – 3-year full-time Diploma in Electronics Engineering with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Graduate Apprentice (Trade Apprentice – Non-Technical) – Full-time Graduation (B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, etc.) with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).

Important Notes

• All qualifications must be from recognized Institutes/Universities as full-time regular courses only.

• Part-time, correspondence, or distance-learning qualifications will not be accepted.

• Candidates with higher professional degrees like BE/B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA, LLB are not eligible.

• Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship Training, or have more than 1 year of job experience, are not eligible.

• Diploma holders admitted through lateral entry (2nd year after 12th/ITI) are also eligible.

• Candidates who completed their qualification more than 4 years ago (Graduate/Diploma) or 5 years ago (ITI) as of 31.08.2025 are not eligible.

IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Stipend Details

• The stipend will be paid as per the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and the Apprenticeship Rules 1992/2019, as amended from time to time.

Graduate & Technician Apprentices

• Stipend will be paid in two parts:

  • 50% of the prescribed stipend will be paid by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

  • The remaining 50% + an additional ₹2,500/- will be paid by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).

• Candidates must have an Aadhaar-linked bank account with DBT facility to receive BOAT’s share.

Trade Apprentices

• Trade Apprentices will receive the full stipend directly from IOCL.

Note: The stipend structure is subject to changes as per guidelines issued by Government/BOAT/NAPS or any other competent authority from time to time.

IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

The selection of candidates for IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025 will be carried out through a merit-based process. No written test or interview will be conducted.

Step 1: Merit List Preparation

• Shortlisting will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the essential qualification relevant to the respective trade/discipline.

• In case of a tie (two or more candidates securing the same marks), the candidate older in age (as per DOB in Class X marksheet) will be given preference.

• Only candidates registered on NAPS/NATS portals and who have applied against this notification will be considered.

Step 2: Document Verification

• Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.

• All required certificates and proofs must be produced in original for verification.

Step 3: Medical Examination

• Candidates must undergo a Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness Test as per IOCL’s prescribed standards.

• Only those declared medically fit will be considered for final selection.

IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025: How to Apply

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online only through the NATS/NAPS apprenticeship portals. No other mode of application will be accepted.

Step-by-Step Guide:

1️⃣ Registration on NATS/NAPS Portal

• Candidates must first ensure they are registered on the respective apprenticeship portals:

2️⃣ Login and Apply

• Use your User ID/Email ID to log in to the portal.

• Go to the “Apprenticeship Opportunities/Openings” section.

• Search and apply for Indian Oil Corporation Limited – Southern Region under the relevant trade/discipline code.

3️⃣ Fill Application Details Carefully

• Ensure all profile details such as caste, educational qualifications, personal details, and aggregate percentage are entered correctly.

• In case of any discrepancy, contact the NATS/NAPS support office before applying.

4️⃣ Submit the Application

• Apply only for the relevant trade/discipline code mentioned in the notification.

• Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected.

5️⃣ Final Note

• Save and print the acknowledgment for your records.

• Remember, no other mode of application will be considered.
