Age Limit (as on 01.08.2025)

  • Minimum Age: 20 years

  • Widows, Divorced Women & Women legally separated but not remarried: Up to 35 years (General/EWS), 38 years (OBC), and 40 years (SC/ST).

Note: Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC can be combined with only one other applicable category. Valid certificates in prescribed Govt. format are mandatory. OBC candidates must produce a Non-Creamy Layer certificate; those in the creamy layer must apply under General category.

 Indian Overseas Bank Apprenticeship 2025: Stipend

  • Metro Branches: ₹15,000/- per month

  • Urban Branches: ₹12,000/- per month

  • Semi-Urban / Rural Branches: ₹10,000/- per month

For NATS Apprentices, ₹4,500/- is paid by Govt. of India through DBT, and the remaining amount is paid by the Bank.
For Trade Apprentices, full stipend is paid directly by the Bank.

Duration of training: 1 year (12 months)

The selection will be based on:

1. Online Examination
  • Objective test with 100 questions (100 marks).

  • Duration: 90 minutes.

  • Sections: General/Financial Awareness, English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, Computer/Subject Knowledge.

  • Minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD).

  • Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of exam marks. In case of a tie, the older candidate will be ranked higher.

2. Local Language Test
  • Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state.

  • Test will be conducted during document verification.

  • Exempted if candidate studied the local language in Class 10th or 12th.
