1. Vacancy Changes – Vacancies mentioned are tentative and may change based on availability of training slots.

2. Submarine Arm (Only for Male Candidates in GS(X), GS(Engineering), GS(Electrical)

   • Eligible to volunteer for Submarine Arm subject to medical fitness, vacancies, and service requirements.

   • Must indicate preference for submarine specialisation in the online application form.

   • Selection will be subject to Submarine Medical Clearance post joining INA.

   • Submarine allowance applicable after successful completion of training.

3. Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Specialisation

   • Candidates in GS(X) may be nominated for RPA after training at INA, subject to fitness and service needs.

4. Merchant Navy Personnel Eligibility

   • Executive Branch (GS): CoC (Foreign Going) as Second Mate, Mate, or Master, DOB between 02 Jul 1996 to 01 Jan 2007.

   • Technical Branch (Engineering): CoC as 1st Class Engineer, DOB between 02 Jul 1996 to 01 Jan 2007.

5. Commercial Pilot License (CPL) Holders

   • Valid CPL from DGCA (India), DOB between 02 Jul 2001 to 01 Jul 2007 can apply for Pilot entry.

6. NCC Candidates – 5% relaxation in cut-off marks if:

   • Possess NCC ‘C’ Certificate (Naval/Army/Air Wing) with minimum ‘B’ Grade.

   • Served minimum 2 academic years in Senior Division NCC.

   • Certificate issued after 01 June 2023.

7. Final Selection for NCC – Subject to verification of certificate by DGNCC/NCC Unit.

Who Can Apply?

• Must fulfill educational qualification before joining INA, Ezhimala by June 2026.

• Final result must be informed to the Indian Navy via officer@navy.gov.in by 20 June 2026.

• Only one application per candidate is allowed.

• Candidates applying for SSC Pilot must check medical standards (height, leg length, etc.) before selecting the option.

• Must indicate preferences for other branches/cadres to be considered for them.

• Not selecting a branch means you won’t be considered for it.

• Pilot/NAOO allowance of ₹31,250/- will be applicable after training.

• No equivalent BE/B.Tech stream (other than those mentioned) will be accepted.

• No backlog allowed at the time of SSB document verification.

 Indian Navy SSC Officers Recruitment 2025;’ Selection Process

The selection process for Indian Navy SSC Officers 2025 will be conducted in the following stages:

1. Shortlisting of Applications

   • Shortlisting will be based on normalised marks obtained in the qualifying degree.

   • For BE/B.Tech candidates (completed or in final year) – marks up to the 5th semester will be considered.

   • For Post-Graduate Degree holders (MSc, MCA, MBA, M.Tech) – marks of all semesters will be considered. For final-year candidates, pre-final year performance will be used.

2. SSB Interview

   • Shortlisted candidates will be informed via Email/SMS.

   • No change in SSB centre is allowed. Requests for change in interview date must be sent to the respective SSB centre after receiving the call letter.

   • Candidates should download their Call Up Letter from the official website once notified.

3. Final Merit List & Degree Submission

   • Candidates in the final merit list must submit proof of completing the qualifying degree with a minimum of 60% marks via email to officer@navy.gov.in.

   • Failure to meet the eligibility will result in cancellation of candidature.

4. Travel Allowance

   • AC 3-tier rail fare is admissible for candidates appearing first time for this commission type. Candidates must carry a photocopy of the first page of their bank passbook or cancelled cheque (showing name, A/C number & IFSC code).

5. Medical Fitness & Training

   • Final selection is subject to medical fitness and training requirements at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala.

 Indian Navy SSC Officers Recruitment 2025: Salary Structure

Upon induction as a Sub Lieutenant, your salary starts at Pay Level 10 of the Defence Pay Matrix, with an initial gross salary of approximately ₹1,10,000 per month. This comprehensive package is more than just a basic salary; it is designed to ensure a comfortable and dignified lifestyle.
