Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme 2025: Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)
Minimum Age: 19 years
Maximum Age: 25 years
19 to 25 years as on 01 Jan 2026 (born between 02 Jan 2001 and 01 Jan 2007, both dates inclusive).
Date of birth as recorded in Matriculation/Secondary School Examination or equivalent certificate will be accepted. No change will be allowed later.
Candidates can apply for only one SSB interview for April 2026 — either SSC (NT) (Men/Women) via CDSE or NCC Special Entry 123rd Course (Men/Women).

A citizen of India, OR
A subject of Nepal, OR

Educational Qualification & Other Criteria
(A) For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders (Men & Women)
Education: Graduate from a recognized university. Final-year students can apply if they complete their degree before course commencement.
NCC Service: Minimum 2/3 years in Senior Division/Wing of NCC.
Grading: Minimum ‘B’ grade in NCC ‘C’ Certificate.
Important:
Provisional NCC ‘C’ Certificates are not accepted at SSB; final certificate must be obtained before appearing.
Final-year candidates must submit degree and mark sheets by 1 April 2026, else candidature will be cancelled.
(B) For Wards of Battle Casualties (Men & Women)
Education: Graduate from a recognized university. Final-year students can apply (same graduation rules as above).
NCC ‘C’ Certificate: Not required.
Eligible Candidates: Unmarried sons/daughters (including legally adopted) of Army personnel who were:
Killed in action.
Died of wounds/injuries (non–self-inflicted).
Wounded/injured (non–self-inflicted).
Missing, presumed dead.
Documents Required:
Battle Casualty Certificate issued by authorised Army authority.
