Eligibility Criteria

Medical Assistant (Pharmacy)

For 10+2/Intermediate Candidates:

• Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with 50% aggregate and 50% in English, OR

• Passed 2-year vocational course with non-vocational subjects (PCB + English) with the same criteria.

For Pharmacy Candidates:

• Passed 10+2 with PCB + English (50% aggregate and 50% English),

• Plus Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy with 50% aggregate,

• Must have a valid registration with State Pharmacy Council/PCI.

• The Indian Air Force has not published any specific number of vacancies in the notification for this intake.
• Instead, final selection will be based on merit, medical fitness, and availability of training slots after all phases (written, physical, adaptability, and medical) are complete.

• Vacancies are filled zone-wise and category-wise after the final merit list.

• The cutoff may vary based on the number of applicants, marks, and seats available during intake.

Indian Air Force Group Y Recruitment 2025: Physical & Medical Standards

• Height: Min. 152 cm

• Chest: Min. 77 cm with 5 cm expansion

• Weight: Proportionate to age & height

• Vision: Correctable to 6/6; not exceeding +3.50D

• Hearing: Normal

• General Health: Free from deformity, disease, surgery marks

Indian Air Force Group Y Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

Phase I – Online Test

• Subjects: English (10+2 level), Reasoning & General Awareness

• Duration: 45 minutes

• Negative Marking: -0.25 per wrong answer

Phase II – Physical & Adaptability

• PFT-1: 1.6 km run

  • Under 7 min (up to age 21)

  • Under 7.5 min (Pharmacy candidates)

• PFT-2: 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, 20 Squats in 1 min each (after breaks)

• Adaptability Tests I & II: To assess ability to adapt to military life

Phase III – Medical Test

Includes:

• Blood & Urine Tests

• Chest X-Ray & ECG

• Physical Examination by IAF Medical Team

Indian Air Force Group Y Recruitment 2025: Pay & Allowances

• Training Stipend: ₹14,600/- per month

• After Training: ₹26,900/- per month + MSP + allowances

• Other Benefits: HRA, TA, CPMA, ration, medical, LTC, CSD, insurance (₹62.5 lakh cover), 60 days annual leave, and 30 days casual leave
