Nationality / Citizenship

• A candidate must be one of the following:
• A citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
• A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Note: For candidates in categories (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v), a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India is required.

Educational Qualification (as on 21 August 2025)

• A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Must have computer knowledge, either through:

• Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations, OR
• Studied Computer/IT as a subject in high school/college.

Language Proficiency: Must be able to read, write, and speak the official language of the State/UT for which they are applying.

Important Notes:

• Original documents related to age, category, education, and nationality must be submitted at the time of final selection.
• No changes in category or other details will be allowed after the application correction window closes.
• Failing to meet eligibility criteria at any stage will lead to cancellation of candidature.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

The selection for IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2025 will be conducted in three stages:

1. Preliminary Examination (Online CBT)

• Objective Type Test

• Qualifying in Nature – Marks are not counted for final merit.

• Candidates must clear sectional and overall cut-offs to move to the next round.

Prelims Exam Pattern:

Negative Marking: 0.25 mark for each wrong answer

2. Main Examination (Online CBT)

• Objective Type

• Marks obtained in Mains are counted for final merit ranking.

Mains Exam Pattern:

Total Duration: 2 hours 40 minutes
Negative Marking: 0.25 mark for each wrong answer

3. Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

• Candidates provisionally allotted to a bank must prove proficiency in the local language of the state/UT they applied for.

• If a candidate fails the LPT, their provisional allotment will be cancelled.

• Exemptions: Candidates who studied the local language in 10th or 12th are usually exempted.

Final Selection:

Based on marks obtained in the Main Examination only (Prelims is qualifying).
Final allotment will be done as per merit-cum-preference, considering reservation norms and bank vacancies.

• Basic Pay: ₹24,050/-

• Pay Scale:

Step-by-Step Online Application Process

1. Visit the Official Website:
   Go to www.ibps.in and click on the “CRP Clerical” tab.

2. Start Registration:
   Click on “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP–Customer Service Associates (CRP-CSA-XV)”
   Then click “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to generate your Registration ID and Password.

3. Fill the Online Application Form:

   • Enter basic and personal details

   • Choose your state for provisional allotment (cannot be changed later)

   • Upload required documents (see below)

4. Upload Documents:
   Upload the following documents as per instructions (Annexure IV of the notification):

   • Passport-sized Photograph

   • Signature

   • Left Thumb Impression

   • Handwritten Declaration

   • 10th Standard Certificate

   • Applicable Caste/Disability Certificate (if applicable)

   • Live Photo Capture via webcam or phone may be required during form fill-up

5. Review Before Final Submission:
   Use the “Save & Next” feature to review and edit the form if needed.
   Once submitted, no changes can be made.

6. Pay Application Fee Online:
   Proceed to payment and complete the transaction.

7. Print Confirmation:
   After successful submission, take a printout of the final application form and payment receipt for future reference.
