Emoluments

• Scale of Pay (Scale II): Rs. 64,820 – 2,340/1 – 67,160 – 2,680/10 – 93,960

• In addition to the basic pay, officers will be eligible for Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) / Lease Rental, City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), Medical facilities, and other allowances/perquisites as per bank rules.

• Allowances may vary depending on the place of posting.

Probation Period & Service Bond

• Probation Period: 6 months

• Service Bond: Rs. 2,00,000 (Two Lakhs)

• Minimum Service Period: 2 years (from date of joining)

Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment 2025: Selection Process

Online Examination:

• • Candidates must appear for an online exam conducted through a recruitment agency.

  • Successful candidates will be shortlisted for the interview in the ratio of 1:3 based on their ranking.

  • Marks allocation: Online Exam – 150 marks, Interview – 100 marks.

  • The ratio of weightage: 75% (Online Exam) : 25% (Interview).

Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• • UR / EWS: 50% (in both exam and interview)

  • SC / ST / OBC / PwBD: 45%

Final Merit List:

• • Combined score = Online Exam marks + Interview marks.

  • Merit list prepared in descending order of scores.

  • If two or more candidates score the same, the older candidate (by age) will be ranked higher.

Cut-off Flexibility:

• • If an adequate number of candidates do not qualify, the Bank reserves the right to reduce minimum marks.

Bank’s Rights in Shortlisting:

• • The Bank may do away with Online Exam or GD and directly shortlist candidates for Interview based on suitability, experience, and qualifications.

  • Additional qualifications and higher experience may be given preference.

Disqualification:

• • Mere eligibility or qualifying does not guarantee selection.

  • Any false information, suppression of facts, or invalid documents will lead to rejection and forfeiture of fees.

  • If already appointed, such candidates may be removed from service.

Low Applications Scenario:

• • If fewer candidates apply, selection may be carried out through interview only.

  • Preliminary screening of applications may be done to shortlist eligible candidates.

Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment 2025: Examination Pattern

The examination will be conducted online by the recruitment agency. It will consist of an objective test with separate timings for each section as follows:

• English Language – 20 Questions, 20 Marks, 20 Minutes

• Quantitative Aptitude – 20 Questions, 20 Marks, 20 Minutes

• Reasoning Ability – 20 Questions, 20 Marks, 20 Minutes

• Professional Knowledge (Banking & Management) – 90 Questions, 90 Marks, 60 Minutes

Total: 150 Questions, 150 Marks, 2 Hours Duration

Important Points

• The test of Professional Knowledge will consist of questions related to Banking & Management.

• Penalty for Wrong Answers:

  • For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted as penalty.

  • No penalty for unanswered questions.

• Normalization of Scores:

  • If the exam is held in multiple sessions, corrected scores will be normalized using the equi-percentile method.

  • Scores will be considered up to two decimal points for calculations.

Bank of Maharashtra Recruitment 2025: How to Apply

Steps to Apply Online

1. Visit the Bank’s website → Careers → Recruitment Process → Current Openings → “Recruitment of Officers in Scale II – Project 2025-26” → click APPLY ONLINE.

2. For new registration, click on “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact Details, and Email ID.

   • A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated and sent via SMS and Email.

3. Fill the application form carefully. Visually impaired candidates should get details verified before submission.

4. Verify all information before clicking Complete Registration. No changes will be allowed afterwards.

5. Ensure the candidate’s name (and father’s/husband’s name) is spelled correctly as per certificates.

6. Validate and save the details, then proceed.

7. Upload Photo, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and Handwritten Declaration as per guidelines.

8. Fill other details in the application form.

9. Preview the entire form, make corrections if required, then click on Complete Registration after confirming all details.

10. Submit the application online between 13.08.2025 and 30.08.2025.
